a Shopping, Dining and Entertainment District stretching more than a mile of beautiful California coastline.
Featuring more than 250 stores, 30 restaurants, 1,500 hotel rooms, 25 rides and attractions, world class theater productions, convention center, museums and the return of the two most famous ocean liners in history.
Featured on News Networks around the world, the Island of Long Beach is a proposed project for the complete restoration and reactivation of the R. M. S. Queen Mary and S. S. United States, with the addition of a 1920's seaside entertainment complex to be constructed in Southern California.
Started for the purpose of what could be done to help preserve and restore history, the Island of Long Beach has continued to revolve and expand beyond its original ideas. For too long has history repeated itself, for actions not being taken, for two ships sitting in harbors a country apart, forgotten, neglected and abused.
The Island of Long Beach with the American Liner Project and the Queen's Project brings together teams from around the world made of engineers, contractors, designers, artists and more to not only preserve history, but to ensure history survives and thrives.
Once completed the Island of Long Beach will stand alone as a unique travel destination found nowhere else on earth, featuring more than 1,500 hotel rooms, rides & attractions, 25 restaurants, more than 250 stores, convention center, museums, boardwalks, air transportation, harbor cruises, yachting and so much more.
At a time where Californias employment rate is at 13% the Island of Long Beach would have one of the largest economic impacts ever in history, with the created of more than 150,000 jobs, an injection of more than $10 billion dollars into the California and U.S. economies, millions of new tourists to the Los Angeles area in addition to the revitalization of Downtown Long Beach.
We welcome you to be a part of the history and majesty that is the Island of Long Beach, for together we can save history At the island of Long Beach, Fun and Adventure; where history comes to life!
